Bache-Gabrielsen BGW is a French single malt made from French barley and aged for five years, in a 70cl bottle. It is matured twice: first in American oak casks that previously held Bache-Gabrielsen Cognac, then in casks that held the house's Très Vieux Pineau des Charentes.
Yellow-amber in colour, it has a light, rounded character. The nose offers fresh hay and stewed fruit. On the palate it is light and floral, with ripe pear and mirabelle plum, and the finish is lingering with a delicate note of acacia honey.
