Bain's Cape Mountain Whisky Single Grain is a South African single grain whisky, distilled and double-matured at The James Sedgwick Distillery under founder distiller Andy Watts. It is bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose has vanilla, toffee and freshly baked custard, with ripe banana, coconut and soft spring flowers. The palate is buttery and sweet, with cocoa butter, caramel, nutmeg, cinnamon and toasted hazelnuts, without bitterness. The finish is short to medium, with warm oak, light spice and a very subtle touch of citrus and grapefruit.
