This is a single barrel Kentucky straight bourbon from Baker's, part of the Jim Beam Small Batch Collection. It was aged for 13 years and 7 months and hand selected for the Kentucky Bourbon Festival 2026, in a 75cl bottle.
The brand is named after Baker Beam, grandnephew of Jim Beam, and this year's release marks his 90th birthday.
The nose brings leather, raspberry, sweet corn, cedar, brown sugar and charred oak. On the palate come leather, tobacco, aged oak, toasted walnuts and burnt caramel. The finish carries rye spice, leather, blueberry and blackberry, ending touch dry with gentle tannins.
