Balblair 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt bottled by Gordon & MacPhail for its Discovery series, in the Bourbon expression. It has matured in bourbon casks. Balblair was founded in 1790 and is among the older working distilleries in Scotland.
The nose is sweet honey and ripe pear mingled with raspberry jam and a little citrus. On the palate there is freshly pressed green apple, dark chocolate and spices. The finish is light and fruity, with mint and citrus.
