Balblair 12 Year Old is a Highland single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 46% ABV.
The distillery stands on the old A9, not far from Glenmorangie, which places it in the northern Highlands. Whisky is reported to have been made on the site as early as 1790 or 1749, and the distillery's roots are dated to 1841. Its water comes from the Ault Dearg Burn, and the malt is supplied by the Glen Ord Maltings.
