A 31 year old Highland single malt from Balblair, distilled in 1964 and bottled in 1995. It is a full amber with red hues.
The nose opens on elegant sherry, with coffee, old rum, raisins, flambéed bananas and coconut milk, plus hints of smoke. The palate is thick and creamy, with caramel, liquorice, marmalade, very ripe bananas, chocolate and coffee.
The finish is long, fruity and caramelly, with fruitcake and Turkish delight.
