Balblair 18 Year Old is a Highland single malt, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It was matured first in American oak ex-bourbon casks and then in first-fill Spanish oak butts.
The character is rich and autumnal, while staying close to the bright, fruity style of the distillery.
The nose offers rich toffee and baked pears against a backdrop of new leather. On the palate come juicy apricots, seasoned oak and vanilla custard, and the finish is long and warming, with fresh spices and raisins.
