Balblair 2000 is the second release in the distillery's Highland vintage series, a single malt in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV. It was distilled in 2000 and bottled in 2017, and it was finished in Spanish oak butts.
The nose brings dried fruit, honey, orange peel and soft spices. On the palate there are raisins, plums, dark caramel and toffee, with subtle oak and warm spices. The finish is long and softly sweet, with a spicy kick at the end.
