This is a 12 year old Balblair single malt from a single sherry cask, bottled by the independent bottler Asta Morris as cask AM143. It was distilled in November 2012 and bottled in February 2025, producing 153 bottles.
The nose shows restrained sherry over white fruit and tea, with hints of Palo Cortado. The palate is creamy and lightly peppery, with elegant sherry and lingering white fruit.
In the finish the sherry builds in intensity, and the complexity keeps evolving.
