Ballechin 10 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt from the Edradour distillery, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour.
The nose brings intense peat with sweet malt, and subtle vanilla and fruit. On the palate the smoke leads, with roasted malt, dark chocolate and spice as a pleasant sweetness develops.
The finish is long and warm, with the peat still present alongside subtle fruit and a soft sweetness.
