Ballechin 10 Year Old is a heavily peated single malt from the Highlands, bottled by the Edradour distillery at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is not coloured and not chill-filtered.
The nose combines sweet, herbal peat smoke with toffee and vanilla, with ripe fruit and a light oak note behind. The palate is oily, full and sweet, with clear peat smoke alongside fruit, caramel and cinnamon. The finish is of medium length, sweet and pleasant.
