A heavily peated 15-year-old Ballechin, distilled at Edradour in September 2010 and bottled in 2026 by Signatory Vintage. It matured in first-fill bourbon barrels and is non-chill-filtered, with no added colour.
The whisky has a natural amber colour, and the bourbon casks add vanilla and wood character to the peat smoke.
The nose is earthy, with strong peat smoke, ripe fruit and creamy honey. On the palate a pronounced vanilla note meets white pepper and intense smoke, with dark chocolate in the background.
