Ballechin 15 Year Old Small Batch Cask Strength is the first batch of a heavily peated 15-year-old from the Ballechin range made by Edradour. Whisky from bourbon and sherry casks was married and bottled in April 2021 at a cask strength of 59.4% ABV, without chill-filtration or added colour. The batch was limited to 3,126 bottles.
The nose has sweet smoke, dark fruit, raisins and chocolate. On the palate come strong peat smoke, caramel, dried fruit and spice. The finish is long, smoky and spicy, with dark chocolate and dry oak.
