Ballechin 18 (2004/2024) Small Batch Bottling Cask Strength Batch 2 (70cl, 57.8%)

Ballechin 18 is a peated Highland single malt from the Edradour distillery, distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2024 at cask strength, 57.8% ABV, in a 70cl bottle. This is Batch 2 of the small batch bottling. For this batch the whisky matured in sherry casks as well as the bourbon casks used before. Peat smoke and oak spice come together, with malt sweets, dark fruit and chocolate adding balance.
