This is a 19 year old Highland single malt from Ballechin, the peated brand of the Edradour distillery. It was distilled in 2004 and bottled in 2023 at 53.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
Ballechin malts are made from malt dried to at least 50 ppm of smoke. This one matured in a single cask type only, puncheons previously filled with Madeira, which give it spice and sweetness.
