Ballechin 2010 10 Year Old Signatory Vintage (70cl, 46%)

A 10-year-old Ballechin single malt, distilled in 2010 and bottled by Signatory Vintage at 46% in a 70cl bottle. Ballechin is the peated malt made at Edradour, with a phenol content of 50 ppm, and it accounts for 5% of the distillery's production. This version was aged in a second fill sherry cask. It is described as both powerful and creamy, built around black fruits, chocolate, ash and spices. Tasting notes mention a fruity, sherried character with blackcurrant, leather, chocolate, spices and honey.
