A 12 year old single malt from Balvenie, the Speyside distillery in Dufftown, in a 20cl bottle at 40% ABV. DoubleWood is matured in two stages.
The whisky first matures in ex-bourbon casks, then moves to first-fill sherry casks for further maturation. The second stage adds extra complexity and character.
