A 13-year-old single malt from Balvenie, aged in traditional oak casks and then finished in Moscatel wine casks.
The Moscatel finish is what sets it apart, adding sweetness and complexity to the whisky.
The nose is ripe fruit, floral notes and honey, with hints of citrus and spice. On the palate it is rich and fruity, with peach, apricot and vanilla balanced by light oak. The finish is smooth and sweet, with lingering fruit and a touch of spice.
