A 19-year-old Balvenie single malt from Speyside, part of the distillery's Stories range. It was matured solely in European oak ex-sherry casks, and the bottling reflects Head Cooper Ian McDonald's work with Spanish bodegas. It is bottled at 47.5% ABV (95 proof) in a 75cl bottle.
The nose is intense ripe fruit and caramelised orange peel, with toasted oak and milled barley. On the palate come currants, cherries and raisins, followed by chewy fig and rich cacao. The finish is long and lingering, with a creamy, nutty note.
