Balvenie Rare Marriages 30 Year Old is a Speyside single malt in a 70cl bottle, bottled at 44.2% ABV. It marries a small number of casks from the distillery, ex-bourbon and oloroso, and every whisky in the vatting has matured for at least thirty years.
The nose offers honey, vanilla, dried fruit, candied orange and waxed wood. The palate is silky and rich, with honey, gentle spice, raisin and oak. The finish is long, fading slowly on wood and candied orange peel.
