Peat Week is a 14 year old Speyside single malt from Balvenie, in a 70cl bottle, made from peated barley. Balvenie dries barley over peat for just one week each year, and that week gives the whisky its name.
The nose is fruity, with both sweet and sharp notes, joined by peat and honey. On the palate come citrus, vanilla and honey, supported by very light touches of peat smoke.
The finish is long and soft, with smooth Speyside character and gentle peat.
