Cinder & Smoke is a Kentucky straight bourbon from The Bard Distillery in Graham, made from corn, rye and malted barley and bottled at 50% (100 proof).
It is finished in Spanish Oloroso sherry casks, which add richer fruit and confectionery character while the bourbon keeps a smoky, drying finish.
The nose offers toffee, toasted marshmallow and fruit. The palate is sweet with toffee and fruit, along with toasted, gently smoky notes. The finish is smoky and drying, with lingering fruit and toasted sweetness.
