Bardstown Collaborative Series Ferrand Finish II Cognac Cask Bourbon (55.9%)

Ferrand Finish II is a Kentucky bourbon from the Bardstown Bourbon Company, released in late 2025. It is the second collaboration in the Collaborative Series with the French Cognac house Maison Ferrand, and it is bottled at cask strength, 111.8 proof (55.9%). The blend is 73% nine-year-old bourbon, 10% eleven-year-old, 10% twelve-year-old and 7% six-year-old rye. It was finished for 15 months in Maison Ferrand Cognac barrels, and the rye makes it a blend of straight whiskies. The nose has French vanilla, black cherry, sandalwood, white chocolate and roasted almond. The palate is full and viscous, with baked apple, pecan praline, raisin and manuka honey. The finish is very long, with oak tannins, dark chocolate and a touch of mint.
