Barone Montalto Passivento Rosso Terre Siciliane IGT

A Sicilian red wine from Barone Montalto, made from carefully selected grapes matured in the Sicilian sun and enriched by an appassimento process. It has an intense, bright ruby colour. The nose offers ripe red fruits such as cherry and plum, with sweet spice, vanilla and chocolate notes from barrique ageing. The palate is full and structured, with soft, balanced tannins, ripe fruit, tobacco and black pepper, leading to a long, enveloping finish. It pairs with red meat, roasts and aged cheeses.
