A Syrah from Sicily, released under the Due Mondi line. Deep ruby red, it has aromas of ripe black berries such as blueberry and blackberry, with black pepper, clove, dark chocolate and undergrowth. Structured and enveloping, with velvety, well-integrated tannins, balanced freshness and acidity, and a long, spicy finish. Suited to grilled red meats, stews and aged cheeses.
