This Pinot Grigio Terre Siciliane IGT from Barone Montalto is an elegant, fresh white wine. The nose ranges from delicate floral notes to citrus and white-fleshed fruit such as apple and peach. On the palate it shows a good balance between acidity and softness, leaving a pleasant feeling of freshness. Produced in sunny Sicily, it benefits from the island's favourable climate, while the calcareous soil of the Barone Montalto vineyards gives it a mineral quality. It suits fish, seafood and white meats, and works well as an aperitif served fresh at about 10-12°C.
