Basil Hayden's Kentucky Red Wine Finish is a special release bourbon, bottled at 40% in a 70cl bottle. It blends the classic high-rye Basil Hayden mash bill with bourbon partly aged in Californian red wine casks.
The colour is a toasted brown with amber hues. The nose offers dried fruit, cherry, vanilla and a hint of toasted oak. On the palate are sweet cherries and charred vanilla oak, with a crisp, delicate mouthfeel. The finish is warm.
