This is an 11-year-old peated single malt from Bunnahabhain on Islay, bottled under the Staoisha name. It was distilled in 2013 and first matured in a refill cask, then moved in 2020 to a first-fill tawny port barrique.
It is the second limited edition release in a Chess series, representing the white pawn, with the label designed by Toronto-based artist Alexander Perkins. Bottled at a cask strength of 62.3% ABV, it is non-chill filtered and naturally coloured, with 259 bottles produced.
