A single barrel bourbon from Holladay Distillery in Weston, Missouri, bottled at a natural cask strength of 61.2% ABV from one cask.
It was distilled in June 2017 and matured for about 7 years and 10 months in new American oak. The mash bill is 70% corn, 15% wheat and 15% malted barley, using Soft Red Wheat.
The nose offers brown sugar, maple syrup, browned butter and honeysuckle, then dark cherry, prune and seasoned oak. On the palate are maple syrup, cherry cola, raspberry compote, baking spices and dried fruit cake. The finish is long, with burnt sugar, tobacco leaf, mint, barrel char and sweet spice.
