Ben Holladay 6 Year Old Bottled in Bond Bourbon Whiskey (75cl, 50%)

Ben Holladay 6 Year Old is a bourbon made at Holladay Distillery in Weston, Missouri, and bottled at 50% ABV (100 proof) in a 750ml bottle under the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897. It is non-chill filtered. The whiskey spent at least six years in level-3 charred Missouri white oak. It follows the original 1856 mash bill of 73% corn, 15% rye and 12% malted barley, the year the distillery was founded. The tasting notes describe thick caramel, dry baking spices and barrel char on the nose, then cola-like sweetness, red fruits, walnut and semi-sweet chocolate on the palate, ending in a long finish.
