A single barrel bourbon from the Holladay Distillery in Weston, Missouri, bottled at a cask strength of 61.2% ABV. It is drawn from one individually selected cask and has been aged for six years.
The mash uses soft red wheat in place of rye, and the whiskey matured in virgin charred Missouri oak.
The nose brings caramel, dark honey, toasted oak and ripe stone fruit with cinnamon. On the palate are concentrated vanilla, burnt sugar, roasted nuts and baked fruit, held by firm oak and warming spice. The finish is long, with pepper, charred oak and deep caramel sweetness.
