Ben Nevis 10 Years is a Highland single malt matured for ten years in oak casks and bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is an official distillery bottling, dedicated to the small lake Coire Leis, and has been in new packaging since 2021.
The nose is mild and complex, with apple, cherry, dried fig and sweet honey, alongside malt, spicy oak, ginger and a hint of caramel sweets. The palate starts firmly, then turns soft and sweet and fruity, with muesli, honey, beeswax, a little citrus and dark chocolate. The finish is long and spicy, with a slight sharpness.
