This is a ten-year-old single malt from Ben Nevis, bottled at 46% in a 70cl bottle. The distillery was built in 1825 and is now owned by the Japanese company Nikka. It stands in Fort William at the foot of Ben Nevis, Scotland's highest mountain, far from other distilleries.
The house style is fragrant and robust, with a light fruitiness of exotic fruit. The palate is oily and slightly smoky.
