Ben Nevis Peated 7 Year Old is a Highland single malt selected by Milroy's. It was distilled in 2015, matured in a refill ex-bourbon hogshead and bottled in 2023, in a limited release of 353 bottles.
The nose is fresh and wild, with woodsmoke, lychees and under-ripe melon. The palate is crisp, with fruit-stack ice lolly and steady wood-smoke peat, plus fresh mint and freshly cut spring grass. The finish keeps smouldering embers and a hint of barbecued pineapple.
