This is a 12 year old single cask Benrinnes from the Single Cask Collection, bottled at a cask strength of 55.7% vol. in a 70cl bottle. It is not coloured or filtered.
The whisky matured in bourbon casks and was finished in rum casks, which accounts for its fruity character.
The nose is very fruity, with banana, apple and muesli. The palate offers ripe apples, pears and vanilla, and stays mild. The finish is sweet and mild, with white chocolate and fruit sugar, and lasts a very long time.
