This is a 15-year-old Speyside single malt from Benrinnes, bottled by James Eadie for its Single Cask series at 54.5% ABV in a 70cl bottle.
The whisky was finished for 17 months in a single first-fill Malmsey Madeira hogshead before bottling. The outturn is 294 bottles.
On the nose there is candied citrus, almond and cherry. The palate brings fudge, raisins, cinnamon and treacle, and the finish carries hints of lime, dried fruit and dark chocolate.
