Benrinnes – 2010 12 Years Old Single Cask 312843 Cask Strength (54.1%)

This is a 12-year-old single cask Benrinnes, distilled in 2010 and bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd at a cask strength of 54.1% ABV. It is a single malt from a Speyside distillery on the slopes of Ben Rinnes, bottled without chill-filtering and without added colour. The nose is rich with dried fruit, dense cake and subtle tobacco, along with Christmas cake, brown sugar, blood orange, lemon-lime icing and oak, then cigar box, plum stones and resin. The palate is medium-bodied and dry, with dried fruit, malt sugar, fresh citrus, apricots and a hint of maple syrup. The finish is long and dry, with citrus sugar and malty pastry.
