This is an 11-year-old Benrinnes single malt from Speyside, distilled in 2010 and bottled in 2022 by Thompson Bros at 50% abv.
It was matured in a hogshead and a sherry hogshead, the latter for 31 months.
The nose brings pipe tobacco, morel mushrooms, old wood, chutney, gravy and plum sauce. On the palate come fruit cake, cooked meats, cranberries, candied oranges and reggae reggae sauce.
