This is a small batch Benrinnes single malt from 2010, bottled by Berry Bros. & Rudd at 46% abv. Benrinnes sits on a hilltop above the lower Spey Valley and takes its name from the Ben Rinnes mountain range. Part of its distillation is done three times, which sets it apart among the malts of its owner, Diageo. The nose is honey, fresh hay and warm floral notes, with citrus and fresh Granny Smith apples emerging over time. The palate is easy-drinking, with rounded fruit and golden syrup alongside the meaty character Benrinnes is known for.
