A 15 year old single malt from Benromach in Speyside, bottled at 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. It joined the distillery's range in 2015 as a natural step on from the Benromach 10 Year Old, with extra years of maturation.
The whisky is matured in an ex-sherry cask and an ex-bourbon cask, and is fruity, chocolatey and lightly smoky.
The nose offers chocolate, caramel and wood smoke, with sultana-studded apples. The palate is rich and rounded, with sultanas, raisins and spicy peat smoke, and the finish brings fruit cake, mint and cocoa.
