This is a 12 year old single malt from Benromach, a limited edition from 2014 in a 70cl bottle at 46% ABV.
The whisky spent its first seven years in first-fill Bourbon casks, followed by a further five years in wine casks. Benromach sits on the edge of the market town of Forres in Speyside, and it fills only first-fill casks, each one filled, weighed and marked by hand.
