This is a 12-year-old Speyside single malt from Benromach, part of the Contrasts series. It was distilled from barley with a high enzyme content, which affects fermentation and gives the whisky a distinctive flavour profile.
It matured from 2012 to 2024 in first fill bourbon barrels. The distillery bottled it at 46% ABV, unfiltered and without added colouring.
