A Speyside single malt from Benromach, distilled in 2014 and bottled in 2023 at 46% in a 70cl bottle. It is made in small batches from heavily peated barley, at 35 ppm, and matured in first-fill bourbon casks. Benromach was built in 1898 and revived in 1993, when the Urquhart family, owners of Gordon & McPhail, bought it. It was officially opened in 1998. The nose brings fragrant vanilla, lemon sorbet and apricot with smoky campfire embers. The palate is soft, with toasted oak, honey and ripe fruit, and the finish is sweet and warming with embers.

About Glenbotal

The idea of Glenbotal came to us naturally: as whisky lovers, we were always on the lookout for new experiences in the whisky world. That’s why we created Glenbotal and became our very own first customers. We buy unique and hard to find spirits from ballots and private collections. Then, we share them with a small circle of friends and people who can appreciate a good dram.
