Bernheim Barrel Proof is a Kentucky straight wheat whiskey from the Bernheim Distillery, bottled at full barrel strength in a 750ml bottle. This release is Batch C925.
It is the first wheat whiskey to use winter wheat as its main grain. Each release is aged for seven to nine years in open-air rickhouses, and new batches appear twice a year. The whiskey is non-chill filtered.
It is described as soft and sweet in flavour, and extra smooth.
