This is an 11 year old Highland single malt from Ardmore, distilled in 2012 and bottled by Berry Bros & Rudd from cask number 9. It is bottled at a cask strength of 59.6% in a 70cl bottle.
The nose is earthy wood smoke with ash, hessian, kippers and digestive biscuits, and a hint of tobacco and fruit cake appears with time in the glass. The palate is very smoky yet subtle, with cedar, smoked straw, pipe tobacco and lime zest.
The finish carries woodland bonfire smoke for a long time.
