Irish Reserve is an Irish single malt chosen by Berry Bros. & Rudd for its Classic Range. It was distilled by the Great Northern Distillery in Dundalk from malted barley only, and matured there in oak casks. It is bottled at 44.2% in a 70cl bottle, without added colour.
The profile joins grassy and herbal notes with light fruit.
The nose brings vanilla cream, lively spice and lime, with ripe apples coming forward later. On the palate, vanilla and soft fruit meet a creamy, slightly oily texture, balanced by fresh apple acidity. The finish is long and dry, leaving a fine note of citrus.
