Wise Owl Irish Whiskey (70cl, 43%)

Wise Owl Irish Whiskey is an Irish blend of grain and malt whiskey with 3% peated malt, bottled at 43% in a 70cl bottle. It is non-chill-filtered and has no added colour or caramel. It was developed with the Great Northern Distillery and is bottled and labelled by hand at Listoke Distillery in Co. Louth. The barley whiskey spent two years in ex-bourbon casks and one in virgin American oak. The peated component spent two years in an imperial stout cask, and the final blend then had three years in virgin American oak. The nose offers dark cherries and sweet fruit. The palate is smooth and sweet, with vanilla. The finish is bold and rich, with spice and light peat.
