This is a 12-year-old Speyside single malt from Berry Bros & Rudd, bottled at 45.3% ABV. It was chosen for its cereal and fruity character.
The whisky was matured for a long period in Oloroso sherry butts, which give a balance of sweetness and spice and a rich texture.
The nose combines sun-dried fruit with baking spices. On the palate come layers of spiced fruitcake and honey toast, with hints of brown sugar, orange and dark chocolate.
