Bertola Amontillado

Bertola Amontillado is a sherry that carries on the name of the old Bodegas Bertola, established in 1919. It is aged in two stages. The first is biological ageing at 15% alcohol, which adds a slightly sharp edge and soft notes of yeast and fruit. In the second, the wine ages oxidatively and moves from pale yellow to deep amber, developing aromas of vanilla, nuts, spice and wood. It suits smoked meats, mature cheeses, white meats, oily fish, ham and spicy dishes, as well as asparagus and artichokes.
