Bhakta Vintage 1973 Armagnac (75cl, 50%)

A single-vintage Armagnac distilled in 1973 and aged for over 50 years, bottled at 50% ABV. It is produced in the Armagnac region using traditional grapes such as Ugni Blanc and Baco, distilled in a continuous Armagnac still and aged for decades in French (Gascon) oak barrels. The 1973 vintage shows rancio, dried fruit, spice, leather and antique oak. The nose has stewed fruits, brown sugar, leather, old books and warm spice. The palate brings cinnamon, nutmeg, white pepper, raisins, dark fruit and cocoa, with an exceptionally long finish of oak, rancio, spice and lingering dried fruit.
